Our People

Jim Veldkamp, President. Jim has been with Master Klean since 1982. He attributes our success to excellent customer service and communication. He also believes it is important to find the right people to act as Supervisors and Area Managers. By building a strong team, we have upheld our reputation as The Distinctive Service People for over 30 years. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and his son. They are active in summer and winter sports, including Jim's recent triathlons.

Bill Borger, CFO. Bill is a Denver native with degrees in Business, Sociology, and Psychology. He also spent one year in law school and worked toward his MBA. He was one of the original owners of Master Klean and has enjoyed watch it grow throughout its history. His interests include dirt bike riding, ATV riding, skiing, and most importantly, his family.

Clifford Faust, Operations Manager. Cliff has over 20 years experience in the janitorial industry. He has experience in all aspects of the industry from office buildings to facilities, medical campuses to schools. He takes a hands-on approach to all aspects of customer relations. He knows how important it is to see the requirements of the tenants and adapt to their needs first hand. He has a Business education from the University Of Nebraska.

Mura Golden, Branch Manager Colorado Springs. Mura has been with Master Klean since 2000. She has enjoyed working and growing the Colorado Springs Branch during that time. She has 14 years of janitorial experience along the Front Range. Mura enjoys living and working in the Colorado Springs area. She is involved with her customers daily and enjoys solving challenges. She is also very actively involved with the local IFMA and BOMA chapters. Mura loves spending time with her husband and their four children.

Larry Atherton, Operations Manager. Larry has been with Master Klean Janitorial, Inc. since 2000. He brings with him over 17 years of janitorial experience in the Denver area and more than 25 years of management experience. Larry has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is involved in daily operations and customer relations. Larry also specializes in floor care maintenance for our team.

Sean Buckingham, Daytime Operations Manager. Sean grew up in Colorado and Graduated from Rampart High School in Colorado Springs. He acquired his Bachelor degree from Western State College in Gunnison. He has 25 years of Janitorial experience. Sean started with Master Klean in 1992 as an evening Area Manager. Sean now supervises, coordinates and gives direction to the day staff members throughout Master Klean operations. In addition, he runs the supply and repair divisions of the company. Sean enjoys all aspects of shooting, sports, and hunting. Sean lives in the Aurora area with his wife, Laura and his daughter, Megan.

Ted Willms, Construction Manager. Ted has been serving the construction industry for many years providing final cleaning services for commercial, retail, hospital, hotel, and school projects. He is in his 10th year with Master Klean. He has vast knowledge of proper cleaning and maintenance methods for carpet, stone, ceramic, and various resilient floors including VCT, rubber, wood, and linoleum. After work has been completed, Ted is an avid follower of the Avalanche and Rockies. He also enjoys travel and spending time with his grandchildren.

Ralph Crowe, Estimator. Ralph is new to the Master Klean team. He is a Colorado native. He brings 32 years of construction experience, 28 years of them being in the commercial, tenant finish and ground up projects. Ralph enjoys camping, hunting and fishing and the great outdoors. He has been a resident in Arvada for 22 years with his wife Sandra.

Charles White, Safety and IT Manager. Charles is a Colorado native. He was born and raised in the Denver area. His degree is in Computer Science with a minor in Business Management. He has worked for Master Klean for 26 years. He started as a part-time janitor (while continuing his education), and has worked as a supervisor, area manager, and other company job functions. His interests include computers, social media, and running. He is very proud to be a multi-marathon runner.

Jeni Carson, New Business Developer. Jeni enjoys working with the Master Klean team and thrives on perfection and providing satisfaction to the people she has met through her sales efforts. She brings over 23 years of Sales and Customer Service experience. She is happy to work at Master Klean because she believes in having a clean and healthy working environment. Jeni has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology and is working on a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Jeni was born into the Air Force and has traveled and lived around the world. She is most proud of being a mother to two wonderful children.

Johanna Hendricks, LEED AP O+M. Johanna is the newest member of the Master Klean Sales Team. Johanna is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and brings to Master Klean a strong background in commercial real estate property management. She is a LEED O+M accredited professional and has a strong passion for green initiatives and helping her clients minimize their environmental impact. She thrives at exceeding her clientele’s expectation and ensuring their utmost satisfaction with our services. Originally from Texas, Johanna has been in Colorado since 2006, and looks forward to building a family here. She likes traveling, alpine skiing, reading and just enjoying everything that living in Colorado has to offer.
